Granular Ribbon Menu
==========================

**The Granular Ribbon** contains all the tools and commands for the Granular version of the Momentum add-in.
This is where you add Granular functionality to the document, such as :ref:`emitter` and :ref:`sensor`. It
also enables users to perform large scale :ref:`External simulations <external_simulation>` which create
journals that can be viewed with the :ref:`journal_viewer`. Settings related to this functionality can be
found in :ref:`granular_settings`.

The granular functionality needs to be activated before it can be used in the document in order to creategranular bodies, emitters and sensors.

Upon activation a granular body system is added to the simulation structure representing the granular bodies in the scene.
